I love stories about the time when the Pony Express was active. So excited to read this!
Leah is a wonderful resourceful character, the kind of strongwilled determined woman any lonely rancher can only dream of winning for himself. But Gideon is battling so many demons that he fears letting himself care for anyone ever again. His little sister and ol' Mose nicely round out the cast of this feel good story. We always knew how it would end but it's beautifully told and set in the beautiful mountains of Montana. I didn't need the too frequent reminders of God's plan for all our lives but the author's style is strong enough and engaging enough for me to ignore those references. A great story from an excellent writer.
