Mary Caldwell’s life was idyllic. She was to marry the man who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, and there was nothing that could ruin it.
At least that was what she thought.
Her betrothed left her standing alone in the front of the church, embarrassed and heartbroken. A year later, her father announces that she is to marry the Earl of Williams, a man she did not know.
