City girl, Lana, escapes to the freedom of the Mountains whenever she can. While out on a short ride, she falls from her horse and gets lost. Things become dire as a wild storm closes in. The last thing Dusty needs or wants is to join the search for a missing city woman, he's too busy keeping his struggling farm afloat. After a strange premonition, Dusty finds Lana, dazed and suffering from hypothermia. With a blizzard on the way, he takes her to a tiny hut in the mountains where they can ride out the storm. The only way Dusty can keep her warm is by using his own body heat. At first Lana is horrified at sharing her bed with a stranger, but as they lie together through the night, talking, she finds out that perhaps her reluctant rescuer is what she's been looking for all along.
