BioDiane first stepped into fiction during November 2012, when she registered for National Novel Writing Month. She not only completed a novel in 30 days, but she went on to self-publish it. It was followed by a second novel the following year.
Up until that point, her focus had been non-fiction, which covered topics such as writing, self-publishing, freelancing and crafts. As a fiber artist, she has been able to combine the best of both worlds and design and write out pattern instructions.
In early 2018, she switched her focus back to fiction, and began a series of romance novella, which are being published on Kindle Direct Publishing. It is the HEA (happily ever after) that has drawn her to romance; the same types of books she read as a teenager so many years ago.
Diane lives in rural Alberta and shares her home with her significant other, her daughter and two dogs. She also works as a part-time library assistant, surrounded by more books than she can read. Her hobbies are crochet, gardening, camping and spending time outdoors when the weather cooperates. She looks forward to time spent with her adult son, as well as her sisters and other family members.
