Regina Morris

Bio

I’m a part-time writer who would love to quit her day job and become a full-time writer. Tea and chocolate fuel me so that I can write at night and on the weekends whenever I can find the time.

I have lived in many different parts of the world, and grew up on military bases. My father was career military and CIA; his father worked with the Secret Service. I graduated high school in Germany and I attended the University of Texas at Austin where I received a degree in Computer Science with a minor in math. My specialty is social media and I love connecting with people.

I do many giveaways and online parties with freebies and a lot of fun, so please join me on social media and subscribe to my newsletter.

I am an prize winning author and an Amazon Top 100 Bestselling Author (in the categories of Paranormal, Vampire, Romantic Series and Romantic Comedy) for my suspenseful paranormal romances that make up the COLONY series. I love paranormal romances featuring vampires, but my personal taste is suspenseful and lighthearted – not horrific and gory.

My novel, “Reliant Service,” came in first place in the Houston Writers Guild’s Fall 2014 paranormal story contest. I am also an RWA Pro member and I judge many online writing contests.

The White House, the President, and Washington D.C. are merely backdrops to support my romance stories. They offer some suspense, but my books are romances and not political thrillers.

Besides writing, I have past work experience as a software engineer (current job), public speaker, sales representative (#1 National Sales Rep for an online company years ago), and I am an amateur portrait and sports photographer.
